Pelinos is just the place for you! Pelinos is a small village, situated in
the heart of Portugal, where old traditions are very much alive. Namely the village
festivals, annual markets, processions etc. The beautiful and historic city of Tomar lies 5 miles from Pelinos
with it's 800 year old picture postcard castle of
the Templars tucked into the heart of the town,
known for it's cosy terraces and shops. Every Friday morning the gypsy market
bustles to life, this should not be missed. Portugal is known for having the most sun hours
throughout Europe, there for good weather can be expected in our opening time
from February 15 until October 15. Our campsite nestles in rural surroundings sited by
woods within walking distance of rivers and the lake. 5 miles away you will
find the reservoir of Castelo de Bode, stretching
40 miles and offering various water activities as swimming and fishing. |
